On April 26, our school hosted a Czech language workshop, KOVERzace č.2, led by school director Elena Gaidukova. The event took place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and attracted 38 participants.
The workshop program included several thematic blocks. The first lecture was devoted to pronunciation and intonation. Then the participants immersed themselves in communication games led by Nina Troshina, an experienced teacher and native speaker. The lecture on word memorization techniques was of particular interest. A guest from the theater world, People's Artist of Ukraine Stanislav Moskvin, shared unusual, creative approaches to learning vocabulary. The educational part of the workshop concluded with a lecture on Czech slang, which allowed participants to get a taste of the lively, informal language spoken by native speakers in everyday life.
Between lectures, there was a cozy coffee break with snacks, tea, and coffee. This was an excellent opportunity for informal communication, exchange of experiences, and new acquaintances. Participants shared their impressions, asked questions, and simply enjoyed the atmosphere of the event.
